Capt. david A. souders, founder
David was fishing for his own personal therapy after life changing injuries while on Active Duty with the 167th Airlift Wing of the WVANG in Martinsburg, WV in 2009. His doctor, Jenna Tedesco said "Find something that you loved to do as a child and start doing it." These words had changed his life in 2010 and have also now changed so many other Warrior's lives ever since. He knew the fishing would become his life, and today the 5th Annual AMMILVETS Redfish Shootout is devoted to helping continue his work by raising the needed funds to provide our Veterans the same life changing experience.
The 2017 Jubilee in the Park and 5th Annual Redfish Shootout, which is name in honor and memory of Terrell W. Brooks Sr. (known by most as Terry)
Terry was a very active local member of American Military Veterans Foundation Inc., he passed away in 2016. Our organization strives to name an events or tournaments in honor of one of our fallen members. We can find nobody more worthy than Terry Brooks.
